My first jucy tubes

OK so I'm years late jumping on the juicy tubes band wagon and don't i regret it! I don't know why i never tried them before it was clearly a mistake.

These were in TK Maxx for only £16 Bargin! my lovely mother brought them for me and I'm so glad she did. This is a limited edition world tour pack with 3 full size tubes in, id say its defiantly worth the money if you can find them in your TK Maxx.

There is no point in me telling you about the consistency of juicy tubes as you all probably own one but for those living under a rock like me they are so thick and sticky that they stay on your lips for so much longer than the average lip gloss and they taste and smell gorgeous!!
The colour isn't as pigmented as id like but I'm still happy with them and they don't dry out my lips at all.
The colours in this pack are........

Rio Peach (tastes like peach)

Paris Moulin Rose (tastes like roses)

NYC Chealsea Coffee (tastes like starbucks all over your lips yum)

At first i thought i wouldn't like NYC Chealsea Coffee at all and i thought Rio Peach would be my favorite but i LOVE all 3 and Paris Moulin Rose is so far my favorite.

If you see these in your TK Maxx i strongly recommend them they are truly a bargin!!

Revlon ColorStay

This post is about Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse Foundation. I got this just one lunch time because I'm so lazy lately id just rather sleep than wake up super early to make myself up, shame on me. Anyway so in the morning i just do my eyes and hair and then run for work so i brought this to keep in my drawer.
I wasn't expecting an excellent foundation else id go and buy a mac i just wanted something i can wack on in 2 secs with my fingers and this turns out is perfect for that! My shade is Light, its the palest there is and i didn't think it would match me so well but its an excellent match for my skin and although its not a really heavy coverage as you can still see my blotchy cheeks through it, i find its enough just to perk me up through the day.
Its a mousse foundation but i wouldn't say its the same kind of mousse as the dream matt mousse, i think this is much nicer and its more liquidy and i find its quite moisturising, it doesn't dry me out at all.
Over all i would defiantly buy this product for my drawer again.

In other revlon blogging when the hell is photoready coming out in the UK? i know i can buy it on the boots website but i want to buy it in person. curse boots and their slow delivery.
well im sorry its been so long. Im still skint but iv got a few things latly and il have to drag out my blogging about them.

id really quite like this please

yes Mark Jacobs Daisy Air or is it Daisy Garland, i have seen it advertise as both. I wasn't a huge fan of the original Daisy perfume BUT this has violet in it and that changes everything! Violet is a gorgeous scent, there is a pure violet perfume that old ladies have and to be honest i think i need that, what is there not to like about smelling of parma violets all day long.
As soon as i sniffed this in boots all afternoon i could smell it, its lovely.
I would have brought it with my precious boots points but I'm so skint i had to use them to buy tooth brushes today.
I will work on getting this perfume, hopefully before it discontinues.

its been too long!

well im sorry iv been a rubbish blogger lately i blame my boyfriend for completely taking over my computer, so i got a new one a nice shiny new pink laptop, its not as nice as the one he has taken over but it will do just fine for this.
Of course becasue i have brought this i probably wont have much money to buy make up to blog about, iv been good receintly not buying any make up im proud of myself.

I have been thinking about maybe buying Benefits Sugarbomb blush with my boots points but at the moment i cant bare to spend them i have worked hard for them.
Is sugarbomb worth it or should i just get Coralista? ...... I do already have NARS Orgasim? oh so many questions.

Well il go now, no one wants to read a blog with all writting no pictures, well i dont anyway.
I will have something to blog about soon even if it means shoplifting HA im joking seriously i am joking.

Pay Day Purchases

YAY ITS PAY DAY!
so at lunch i popped into lush to buy a shampoo for my mum and asked when the lip scrubs would be released and they had them! I couldn't have just one i had to have them all!

So here they are, There are 3 different flavors: Bubblegum , Sweet Lips and Mint Julips.
They all taste delicious and as they are made from pure sugar you dont have to wipe them from your lips you just lick away :) yum!

Bubblegum Lets just be honest here this IS just Snow Fairy in your mouth! obviously without the hideous taste of soap if you had actually snow fairy in your mouth. This is bright pink and consists of Caster sugar, and Organic Jojoba Oil. when i smell it i just want to stick my tongue in.. oh the shame.

Sweet Lips tastes just like a sugary vanilla caramel combo. It doesn't remind me of a particular Lush Product like Bubblegum does but its nice and sweet just like youd expect. This is made of Caster Sugar and Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Extract, Cocoa Absolute and Tagetes Oil. Out of all three this is my least favorite but im still going to use it, its still nice just not as nice as the others.

Mint Julips This is soooo tasty! its just like smearing mint chocolate all over your lips i love it! This is my favorite and i think the one i will use the most, im going to stick it in my bag, il keep one in the car and one possibly at work. This is made of Caster Sugar, Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Extract, Tagetes Oil and Peppermint Oil.

I have used these all afternoon since i got them just because they taste so good! the only this is id say my lips are now in worse condition than they were before because i am constantly licking and biting at them, i will try my best to use a balm after using these.

The size difference for the same price!
(Excuse my boyfriend asleep behind lol )

Then after work I went into boots to get this YSL Parisienne Set. I have the small bottle of this perfume and i adore the scent but i find it has zero staying power on my skin so i have to drench myself in the stuff, so i have used up half a bottle which i only got before christmas and that is with not wearing it everyday.
This set has the bigger 50 ml bottle and a body lotion for £30 which i just couldn't resist as i payed £30 for my little bottle and that was with discount. The 50ml is around £38/£40 i think so this set is a steal and id rather stock up now than pay full price for something that will run out in a matter of months.

I hope you enjoyed my little purchases, im also going to get some twilight make up from ASOS.com, i cant help myself i must look like i could attract Edward Cullen.

Urban Decay Ammo Shadow Box

Hey sorry its been so long. I just have a little review to do, i know this product has been out for ages but i got it in the sale and just thought i have to do it because the colours are so pretty.

So i got this in House of Fraiser down to £17 from £22 not much of a saving but its better than full price. I really like the colours in this set as they are so versatile they can be worn everyday or for going out, my favorite out of every urban decay pallet is always oil slick which i use the most, i love a black eye look.

So here are the Swatches im so sorry about my gross arm but its better than my spindly hands.

*Smog.
I really like this deep brown colour, its not clumpy with glitter more sheer, it will make a lovely everyday smokey look.

*Mildew.
This is a beautiful colour which i will never use. i just dont think greens suit me and i always feel sort of over dressed if i attempt to wear green shadow, i did once in high school on a day we had sex education and was accused of having syphilis because it had faded to a yellow colour, hence my staying away from green/yellow eyeshadow. story over.

*Oil Slick.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this shadow. I AM going to buy the full size of this, iv hit pan on my old UD palled with this colour. It goes on the lid beautifully and stays there. The only downside is the fall out but i guess it cant be helped.

*Last Call.
This colour looks purple in the pallet but i think on skin it looks much more pinky with silver sparkles. it wouldn't be a colour id wear on a day to day basis but i think im going to use this for a valentines day look.

*chopper.
Again a nice neutral every day colour with the extra sparkle, this swatch does not do it justice as it makes it look quite orange but its not like this on the face.

*Maui Wowie.
I really like this colour, a champagne sort of colour. I would wear this every day and i think would make a nice inner eye colour as well.

*Shattered.
A turquoise greeny blue mermaid colour which i will also never wear. its such a pretty colour that i might try to attempt it one day but i cant see it happening anytime soon. I feel like such a wh*** in these vibrant colours lol.

*Polyester Bride.
This is a vibrant white with shimmer. It could make a nice inner eye colour but i think its very pigmented and i prefer my inner eyes to be sheer. I will try it out and it could be nice for blending.

*Grifter.
This is a Purple/Pink colour that again looks brighter on the skin. its pretty and il make an effort to wear it, i dont have much more to say about it.

*Sin.
I Really like this shade, its another champagne colour and i think i could wear this on its own all over the lid, i really want the primer potion in sin as well.

So to sum up the blog, i love this pallet even though i wont use some of the colours, its worth it for the ones i will. Sorry im no good at reviewing but you might just like to look at what iv brought.

lots of love xxx

Iv stocked up on rescue remedy which i hope helps. this is so important to me i really dont want to fail :(

No Heat?... No Way!

Well i tried to use no heat on my hair to help it grow and i just cant do it. I lasted 2 days (pathetic i know) but my hair is just crazy with no heat its just a no go.
Instead i have decided i will straighten and blow dry my hair but only 1/2 times a week instead of straightening it every day.
If any one has any products they have used to help gown their hair id be incredibly grateful for any tips, Im still on the Sea Kelp and i have the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment.
Iv had to resort to wearing my hair up, which i am NOT a fan of, please god let me hair be gorgeous.
Bye xxx

Sonia kashuk

Well my sonia kashuk brushes from the space nk sale have arrived, iv only used the face brush today which was nice.
All the brushes are soft and I love the shape of the handle, I'm looking forward to using the compact kabuki which looks nice and dense.
Il keep you updated if there is any shedding or anything but well for the money you can't really complain.

A little Haul <3

Ok i have blogged alot this weekend but its only because thats the only time i get to blog so im making the most of it as i probably wont be able to again untill next weekend, so if you hate it im sorry.

Anyway i just thought id post a little Haul Blog from this weekend, its not alot but just a few things i picked up.

1. Sexy Hair Ultimate Volume Gift set.
I got this from TK Maxx for £12 i haven't seen this product anywhere else and iv wanted it for ages just to give some volume to my roots, i haven't used it yet but i will tomorrow for work. The set includes a Spray and Play Harder Firm Volumizing Hairspray and a Root Plump Plus Humidity Resistant Volumizing Spray Mousse, im more excited about the mousse than the spray as im a big fan of ellnet or however you spell it.

2.NO 7 Skin Illuminator in Pink.
Iv blogged about this product before only i already have this in peach and i love it, so i went back when boots had their £5 off NO 7 vouchers on and got it in pink. I think this will look lovely when going out with a dark smoky eye and baby pink lip. Im defiantly excited to use this.

3. TEK Wooden Hairbrush.
Another bargain from TK Maxx for £3. iv wanted a round brush for a while to help with volume the only problem being 1) im so cack handed i couldn't brush and blow-dry at the same time and 2) this is ment to reduce static, i have never had static in my hair and 1 brush with this my hair was all over the place. oh well only £3.

4. Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo.
I love love love this product, this is my second tube and i have no desire to try a different purple shampoo. I have used alot before like loreal pro shine shampoo and a Regis silver shampoo that were both around £12 each and this is only £5 and works a million times better than any of the salon ones iv used. I recommend this for anyone with bleached hair, if you leave it on for longer than needed it can leave a bit of a purple sheen to your hair but i leave mine on longer because i sort of like that. Also it smells like Angel Perfume!

5. Maybelline Dream Creamy Foundation in 04 Light Porcelain.
This is new and it was cheap so i thought id give it a go.
Its not the best coverage but the colour match is fine, i apply it with a brush rather than the sponge provided just because i dont like it when they look dirty so i just dont use them.
its creamy and hasn't broken me out, not that anything does very often.
I wouldn't use this as my everyday foundation but i am going to keep it in my bag for touch ups.

6. Ruby & Millie small make up bag.
Another boots £5 off voucher purchase, i underestimated the size of this and though it looked bigger inside than it is, i want a new make up bag to carry things around with me day to day. at the moment i use the bag from the MAC holiday collection brush sets and its tiny you cant fit a thing in. So i thought this would be bigger but its not, so im just going to keep it for going out when i take a smaller bag, it was £8 down to £3 with the voucher.

7. Boots Natural Collection Lipstick in Cherry Red.
This is not my colour full stop.
I was hoping to find a lovely red lipstick but i just find they all look ridiculous on my, id like a darker red than this but i bet that would still look ridiculous. Il stick to nudes and baby pinks. booo ! :(

8. Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in 112 Ambre Rose.
I brought this after seeing SWalkermakeup use it in her smokey eye tutorial. it looked lovely on her lip, its like no other colour i own and il keep using it, its in the pink collection but it sort of reminds me of a nude beige more than a pink. I like the consistency its not drying and it tastes nice too :)

my winter wonderland walk to work

Just wanted to show you a few pics of my walk to work after the bus's were canceled last week. I hate walking to work but i must admit it was pretty ... apart from a puddle of blood in the show dont worry there is no picture of that. x

Saturday 9 January 2010

Sea Kelp

I went to the heath food shop and asked for something that would make my hair grow and they suggested sea kelp, it speeds up your metabolic rate which apparently makes your hair grow faster.I dont know if i hold high hopes for this herbal stuff, but my boyfriend says i look stupid with my extensions in and other stuff from boots is £30 where this is £3.
You take a 3 tablets a day with food so i spread them out morning, lunch and evening. so hopefully il keep you updated on the growth.
Here are pictures of the pills and my hair length at the moment.
bye xxx

December Favs

Sorry its late i haven't been able to get on my computer, i really need a laptop :(
In no order at all my December Favorites are.....

Elf Flat Top Powder Brush.
Iv talked about this before so i wont go on about it, but honestly this brush is so soft and works so good.

MAC Select foundation NW20.
This is my everyday foundation, i did try Studio fix fluid for a bit but im still loving this, although i wouldn't mind Studio Fix in NW15.

NO7 Skin Illuminator in Peach.
Iv been using this product alot just everyday wear,
im going to get it in pink this weekend as they have finally started giving out NO 7 vouchers in boots hooray.

MAC Select Cover Up Concealer.
I dont use Concealer a great deal but this is what iv been using this month.

ELF Golden Bronzer.
I use this more as a highlight than a bronzer just because its so light, i dont feel it bronzes me up that much.

ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen.
I love this colour its not too Bright and im a fan of MAC's Cubic this is a bit similar.... well it is on my skin tone.

ELF Eyelash Curlers.
The Best Eyelash curlers iv used ever hands down.

Prestige Total Intensity Eyeliner in Black.
This stuff is so good for its price, i used to use benefit bad gal waterproof but this stuff is just as good maybe even better, i know everyone loves UD 24/7 in Zero but i have 2 minis and im not a fan it just doesn't live up to this stuff.

Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara.
I didn't think much of the brush when i first opened this up but it really works, it doesn't clump and separates your lashes beautifully.

And that is my December Fav's hope you liked it

Perfumes

Over the holiday period it turns out my most purchased item was perfume, this isn't my entire collection but i thought id just show you what i got over christmas.

1. DKNY Be Delicious. I got this in a set at superdrug for £25 after christmas, it came with a body lotion as well. Its a sweet smell and does bare resemblance to apples but it doesn't smell exactly like an apple, i originally wanted the red one but the woman in the shop said this one was nicer, im easily swayed.

2. Tommy Girl. Everyone probably has this when they were younger but it was in boots for £11 what more can i say. Its a floral scent, not what im usually into but it will be nice for summer.

3. Thierry Mugler Alien. This is a woody spicy smell which i thought would be nice for winter, its different to any other scent i own but my friend it smells like me anyway which i suppose is nice to know. Its quite strong so i find 2 squirts is enough to smell through out the day.

4. Christina Aguilera By Night. I love this perfume, i know its cheap and tacky but it smells amazing and is the perfect night time smell for me, its sort of musky powdery and sweet at all the same time, if youv not smelt this i recommend that you do.

5. Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy. This is another set i got from superdrug for only £20 which also included a body lotion, its a sweet musky smell again and is a nice smell for day or night, I carry this around in my bag because again its good for anything.

6.Estee Lauder Sensuous. This is another woody smell but nothing like Alien, i cant really explain what it smells like but its nice and when someone at work wears it i can smell them from down the corridor lol but in a good way, this is a little handbag size one for £20 again from boots.

7. The Body Shop Love ETC. I brought this on a whim last week, its smells lovely and sweet just what i like and reminds me of something i smelt when i was younger but i cant put my finger one, I think this is good value as its £16 for the larger bottle or a smaller one for £11, i got the larger bottle and i only have one complaint and thats that i dont find the scent stays on your skin very long, after half a day i couldn't smell it anymore unlike the sexy 212.

Well i hope this was interesting if not useful and i promise the contact blog will be up soon just i need to take photos of the hazel and it killed my eyes trying to get the green ones out so im giving it a rest lol im a whimp.
bye xxx

I brought all of these myself with my own money appart from one which my lovely boyfriend brought me for my birthday, if you want to send me perfumes do it !
