My first YSL lipstick

Hello, just a quick blog about this beauty i purchased on Sunday.
whilst in town with tom i was just having a quick look and i saw this beautiful colour its a bit more peachy than shown in the picture. I dont usually spend £20 on a lipstick i have only done that before with my dior lipglow which in my opinion was defiantly worth it.
This isn't as matt as i would have hoped , its more of a gloss and although its not bang in your face peach its still pleasant and is a natural nude look rather than the harsh concealer lipped look. This tastes amazing too very fruity and its moisturizing to so i dont have to use carmex underneath. Anyway i would defiantly buy another one of these in the baby pink.
bye x

Bits and Bobs .... and Edward

Ok still not up to date with writing i will stop saying sorry for this soon as its pointless, i will never get to go on my computer that
much until i get a laptop, for which il be waiting a while!

Ok Iv brought a lot of stuff lately and iv been busy busy! I'l start with my purchases....

Iv gone a bit mad on the lip products lately

Rimmel lipstick in 006 Pink Blush
I love this colour its a nice bright/baby pink which is more
wearable than you would think when looking at it like this
and it smells so good like sweets.
Before now iv only really worn glosses and thinks like MAC's
hello kitty pink fish lip conditioner
as i think my lips are quite cracked all the time, but as long as i give a good coat of carmex to my lips first i find it looks good and it lasts well as well. Over all for a low end product I am impressed and it inspired me to wear more lipsticks which are to follow ....

Barry M lipstick in 53
I brought this on a whim when in boots, i stood there thinking
hmm you know what? i want an orange lipstick, i did consider
Barry M's 54 but thought hmmm i dont think i can bring myse
to buy the matt orange so i got this. its more or a coral orange
and its a luster which makes it more wearable in the daytime.
This does not smell as nice as rimmel's lipstick and i have to admit i haven't worn it out yet, only round the house as at the moment im completely loving the dark eyes baby pink mouth look. But whilst wearing it around the house it did last a fair few hours and i have been inspired to wear it tomorrow!

Barry M lipstick in 54
Well i caved in and went back and got it earlyer this week
this picture is not as good quality as the above two but im still getting the hang of my camera, 54 (matt orange) is on the left and 53 (luster coral orange) is on the right.
I have worn this once since i brought it and was laughed at by not only my mother but my boyfriend as well so i think it will be a while until i pluck up the courage to wear it again. I was inspired to buy it after seeing my niece wear it and it looked amazing, seems i cant pull it off like her but i will try again. It is really matt and thick concistansy, i think it will have good staying power.

Maybelline super stay gloss in 103 rhinestone pink
Again this was inspired from seeing becky wearing this when at the pub, im not sure if it was this shade exactly or the more lilacy one that she had on but i love this. I'v used the max factor long lasting gloss and i hated it but i thought id give this a try and iv been pleasantly surprised. You have to wait for the top coat (the colour) to dry on your lips before you add the gloss, it feels thick on your lips but it works after 3 hours of eating and drinking it was still firmly on my lips, it could have done with another coat of gloss but the colour and shimmer was there for the long haul, another low end product worth the price.

MAC's Dsquared2 lipstick in nude rose (lustre)
I was so excited to get this, as we dont have a MAC store in exeter i have to buy mine online so i waited
for my package to arrive to get this and although i still love the colour of the actual lipstick i was SO disappointed only because it is the EXACT colour of my lips! who knew that there would be a lipstick that matches your lip colour so perfectly but this does, i dont believe that looking at this beautifully coloured product that my lips are that colour but apparently they are, when i put this on it makes absolutely no difference at all. If it did Id love it, MAC lipsticks moisturise my lips and i thought it would be the perfect baby pink/nude shade for me.

MAC's Dsquared2 Lip erase lip balm
This looks, feels, tastes and smells like your applying concealer to your lips, i wouldn't be surprised if it is concealer with added moisture. Again i havent worn this out yet and have only applyed it once but it did do the job and take the colour out of your lips and it did look nice and i think with some gloss on top it would look better. I did find though when putting it on it would no
t colour the edges of my lips, if maybe you could find a nude lip pencil it would help the effect. But all in all i think id wear this more than barry M 101

Thats it for the lip products all this has been in the space of around 3 weeks i went a bit mad thats for sure, i must make more of an effort to wear it all!! on to the other stuff....

GOSH foundation Brush
I got this brush as i was wearing my Revlon Colourstay foundation more often than my mac select foundation, and Colourstay is a much more thick consistency than MAC so i found that my usual duo fiber brush just wasn't doing it justice. This brush was i think £12
which i dont mind paying for a brush rath
er than £25 for a MAC one. I like it, it takes some getting used to actually feeling like your painting your face rather than lightly stippling on with my other brush but its all good.

GOSH Nail Varnish in Frou-Frou
its a terrible picture i know. i only got this today so im sorry for not having it on my nails yet, i originally went in to get a blue glittery one but then saw this instead. its hard to describe but its like a pure glitter in a slivery baby pink its got a dark underto
ne to it as well, im not sure what it will look like on the nails but im hoping it will be nice especially for a night out and glittery for the xmas mood, i know its early but i dont like halloween so im
looking past that to xmas and my birthday :) i need to wear more colour on my nails as at the moment i tend to only wear french manicure so this will make a nice change. I will update with a photo soon.

Paul and Joe cosmetics bag
This beaut was expensive £25 for a makeup/travel bag is alot for me, 1 i dont really use make up bags or travel bags because i dont go anywhere but when i do i have to take make up and my brus
h roll which is a pain in the ass because that usually means taking it to work the next day.
I found this badboy in Urban Outfitters in Brizzle when me sars and hannah went there to see tinchy stryder (more on that below) i have never been in Urban Outfitters appart from online and OMG i love it there i could have spent all day there. I saw this on
the tuesday and went home regretting not buying it (as it was £25 may i keep reminding you) but ended up ringing my sister inlaw to pick it up for me and my lovely mother payed for it for me. its a really nice blue and pink floral print on a green floral background, the patterns clash but in a good way. When you open it it has a compartment on the left side that you cant see just a pocket then it has the patterned bag attached to a file like clip as well as a mesh bag, behind that attached to the last part of the insides are elasticated parts for brushes PERFECT! now i can just take my select few brushes that il need and know they wont get damaged without taking my entire brush roll. This is the 1 thing i am looking forward to about going training this sunday the fact that i can make use of this.

And that is Finally all of my purchases for 3 weeks apart from one very important thing....
Edward!! he is my car! yes i have brought my very first car, optimistic i know (which is a change for me) as i have not passed my test yet, i have my theory booked for Thursday so hopefully il pass cross your fingers. Edward (yes named after the cullen kind) is not a new car he is a white Rover 414sli but he is in good condition and i love him, soon enough my make up collection will start spilling over from the flat into him. I havent got a picture just yet but when i do i will surly have it straight up on here.
well im sorry that was a long one i was going to add my tinchy pics and vids but i think il have to make a new post for that.
goodnight x

September Favorites

Sorry again but I still cant find my cable for my digi camera so this will be have to be done with out pictures again.
ok so here is my september favs...

  1. MAC Select foundation in NW20. Mostly in September I have still been using my Mac Foundation, its quite a light coverage and strangely in devon its still been fairly good weather. Although lately at the end of september i have been using Revlons Colourstay more often as it is starting to feel more like autumn i want a thicker coverage.
  2. MAC Bronzing Powder in Golden. Usually in the summer i was using Refined Golden bronzer, which i know the only difference is that is shimmery but for some reason i find its a lot darker than Golden bronzer. So i have been toning down the bronze and going for a more paler face look.
  3. Loreal Studio Secrets Primer. I think this stuff is ok, iv been using it through September (well since i got it a few weeks ago) and it works i find my make up stays on just as well with this as it does with MAC's primer so its defiantly worth the money especially if you can get it in a sale like i did for £10 in superdrug. I really like the consistency its like a really thick moose and its nice to put on your skin, and it doesn't smell funny.
  4. MAC Paintpot in Blackground. The past month when i wasn't at work i was all about dark eyes, i don't care if i was going out in the evening or just going to the shop in the day this stuff was on my lids. I prefer to apply this paint pot with a brush as i don't like getting it under my nails and i find i don't have to apply a shadow over this colour i can just wear it on its own with some UDPP and it stays on just fine.
  5. MAC Hello Kitty collection lip conditioner in Pinkfish. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff, when it came out i made my dad drive the hour trip to the nearest mac shop to get this and i stocked up with 2 in Pinkfish and another in the other colour, i cant remember the name right now? Anyway, i wear this fairly often as it is but i think combined with the Blackground paintpot its perfect and it dries on the lips leaving the nice baby pink sheen to them, il be gutted when i finally run out of this stuff it goes with me EVERYWHERE.
  6. Nailene Pearl White french tip pen combined with Bourjois so laque Nail Varnish in 13 Rose Lounge. These 2 products together give the best french Manicure look which i have been loving in september, it just makes your nails look so tidy and looked after. The french tip pen is a god send, i don't have the steady hand to use a tip varnish so this solid tiped pen you just glide across your nails and it dries almost instantly so it doesn't smudge when you do your other hand. The So Laque varnish is a beautiful light Pink, the colour i wish my nails were 24/7 and it tones down the pearl in the tip pen to a lovely white. Id deffo recomend both of these to anyone wanting a french manicure look in 5 mins.
Well thats my September Favorties, i hope youv enjoyed (which obviously no one has becasue no one reads this) but il write anyway and hopefully someone will lol.
I just done a mini mini haul yesterday which i want to write about but when il be able to i have no idea as my laptop has just died and i cant afford a new one because im buying my first car this month woohoo.
well il write again soon bye xxx
